 ダーリンは外国人 (My darling is a foreigner) This Japanese movie is based on a manga series written by Saori Oguri (Mao Inoue acted as Saori in this movie) about her own life with her foreigner husband. A very simple yet realistic, touching story of a couple from different backgrounds who fell in love. With a touch of humor, the movie portrays on how they overcome the challenges of cross-cultural and language barrier. Hehe, okay. More reviews will be up soon after I finished watching them! ;) Wednesday, October 27, 2010 @ 8:36 AM | 0 Comment [s]
 The power of friendship.. The bond between brothers.. The spirit that connects us all.. Two Brothers is a magical movie that takes you into the heart of the Asian jungle to join Sangha and Kumal on their sometimes heart-breaking, sometimes encouraging journey. I really, really enjoyed watching this movie. Hence, rating it ★★★★★ (5 stars)! Hope you guys enjoy it too! :D Cute, cuddly tigers~ ♥ (PS. Can I own a pet tiger? lol~) Sunday, October 24, 2010 @ 10:37 AM | 0 Comment [s]
 ~~~ヾ(＾∇＾) おはよー♪！ I've finished watching another Japanese movie, みぽりんのえくぼ (Miporin no Ekubo) Based on a true story of two parents who came to know that their youngest daughter has only a year left to live due to a brain tumor. This tearjerking movie depicts the family's remaining time together, including the 359 letters that Miho (their youngest daughter) drew before her death. Such a sad movie, I cried. （；_・） Okay, いってきます！☆ﾐ(o*･ω･)ﾉ Bye-bi! Saturday, October 23, 2010 @ 10:45 AM | 0 Comment [s]
 みなさん、こんにちは！(ノ^^)八(^^ )ノ I'm back with a new movie to recommend you guys! *drum rolls* I've just finished watching a Japanese movie, ソラニン (Solanin).  The movie depicts the troubles of youth and growing up, the difficulties finding your place in society, and the ultimate task for any of us - making somewhat sense of life.  Existing consumes most of their energy, and what’s left is used up defending their dreams - making and playing music. Their struggle undeniably has an irresistible charm, and is loaded with full of emotions.  This movie really captures the monochromatic moods of growing up, and consequently it relates to the audience in unspoken ways, making it a beautiful experience rather than just a normal film following the textbook.  What's more, this movie is acted by Aoi Miyazaki! ♥♥♥~ (She also acted in Tada Kimi wo Aishiteru, another nice Japanese movie that I've watched long long time ago.) Overall, I shall rate this movie 9.5/10! Hehehe Okay shall stop here for now. じゃあ、またね！~~~ヾ(＾∇＾) Monday, October 11, 2010 @ 10:18 PM | 0 Comment [s]
 Had an Audi time with Wan, Atiq and Ilham. Well, it would be more fun if Nad's around. Hehe. Okay, tomorrow school reopens. As usual, the normal routine - Presentation, 6Ps and lastly RJs. The only difference - new class, new classmates/team mates, new facis and new modules. Shall keep this post short and sweet. Sleeping now. Nights people! :) Wednesday, October 6, 2010 @ 10:19 AM | 0 Comment [s]
生徒会役員共 (Seitokai Yakuindomo) Seitokai Yakuindomo is a school-life comedy anime. All I can say is I really like this anime for one main reason - It's incredibly funny! At the end of each episodes, I'll assure you'll walk away with a few good laughs.(Cause I did!) Okay, more anime recommendations will be up soon! >< Monday, October 4, 2010 @ 11:19 PM | 0 Comment [s]
かなめも (Kanamemo) This anime is really wonderful and I really enjoyed watching it. The storyline was very good and some of the scenes in the episodes made me burst out into laughter. The characters themselves are very interesting. Especially Saki and Kana. (FYI: Kana's voice was done by Aki Toyosaki. And Aki Toyosaki was the one who voiced Yui Hirasawa from K-On! ♥~) And to wrap everything all up, if you're the one whose into slice of life and comedy genre, I recommend you to watch it! :D Sunday, October 3, 2010 @ 10:46 PM | 0 Comment [s]
